 This is the bolt from a picnic table which stood for many years in a beautiful picnic grove to the south of the house. There were abundant flowers, a birdhouse, and many a pleasant family weekend picnic was held there. Interestingly enough, the rotted remains of the picnic table are still visible on the site.
