Dairy Barn

Here are two views of the large dairy barn, taken during my last visit to the property in 1993. My grandfather used the farm as a working dairy farm from 1951-1956. There was pasteurization and bottle-washing equipment in a small room at the front of the barn, and there was an electric fence at one time. Also, the records about the individual cattle were kept here, my grandmother recalls it being about 26 head of Jersey cattle. There were a few horse stalls underneath the barn, and automobiles were stored there also.
