Farm in 1894 (oldest picture I have)

This is a picture of the farm as it appeared in about 1894. Notice that there were only two attic windows, instead of three, and there was one fewer window on the second floor. Also, note the lack of the front porch and that the ornamentation next to the attic windows was painted black. Surprisingly, the "in-law" apartment was present at that time.
On the back of this photo is the following text:
"Great-grandfather Flagg's Homestead Great-grandfather Joseph Flagg came with family from Boylston to Homestead in 1845. House built by a Mr. Babcock of Boston. A Col. Bailey settled on this farm years before, his first child born there 1749. No date found for year house was built [1839]
Grandfather Flagg bought place from brothers and sisters and our family first lived at this place. Moved 1894 April"
