Postcard from the Farm (early 1900's)

Here's a postcard from the the McGrail farm, taken sometime in the beginning of the 20th Century. I believe that it was taken sometime between 1902 and 1942, these were the times that the Lyman School was operating in Berlin. Note that there is only one door on the garage. Note also that there is no front porch on the farmhouse, and that Lyman Road is unpaved. There seem to be horse hoof marks on the sandy road, that would perhaps give the card an early date. The flagpole is visible on the oval lawn in front, that must have been related to the school. We still have the 45-star flag that was always flown on Memorial Day.
